Location

PlaceMatters is working on a team led by Clarion Associates to update Fort Collins, Colorado Comprehensive Plan.  PlaceMatters is working with the City and the project team to design and implement a public engagement process that focuses on multi-channel participation, transparency, and the creation and communication of indicators of progress toward City goals. 

PlaceMatters will guide the city in creating innovative web and mobile technologies to gather input throughout the process.  In addition, live meetings will be supported by the AnyWare suite of tools.  PlaceMatters will also work with the City, Clarion Associates, and team members Brendle Group and Fehr and Peers to create tools to measure progress toward indicators and clearly communicate progress to the public.

The Fort Collins Comprehensive Plan Update process, called "Plan Fort Collins" was launched with an event on March 3rd, with over 650 attendees. Futurist Thomas Frey was the keynote speaker of the kickoff event. PlaceMatters provided keypad polling on what attendees felt was important to stay the same, and what should change in Fort Collins over the next fifty years, as well as questions evaluating the City's current policies.
